OUR MISSION
To foster meaningful volunteer engagement in Canada by building a tailored, value-for-money platform that connects volunteers with the host organizations, schools, and public institutions that need them most.
Our Story
We're a Canadian social enterprise — and we're just getting started.
WeCan Volunteer Solutions began as a kitchen-table conversation in Scarborough, Ontario between civic-minded technologists, non-profit leaders, and the founder of WeCan Foundation. We kept hearing the same story: passionate volunteers couldn't find the right opportunities, and stretched host organizations couldn't reach the right volunteers.
Today we're building the digital infrastructure that connects them — a mobile-first, web-enabled platform with public-sector-grade accessibility, Canadian data residency, and verified-hours that volunteers can show off to schools and employers.
Our model is hybrid by design: a social enterprise for sustainability and a non-profit foundation to fund community programs the platform powers. From neighbourhood food drives to FIFA-scale mobilization, we're building for the long run.
