By using WeCAN Volunteer Solutions you agree to the following terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Volunteers under 18 may need parental consent depending on the host organization's requirements.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Do not post unlawful, harassing, or harmful content.
• Do not attempt to access data or systems beyond your role's permissions.

4. Host responsibilities

Host organizations must accurately represent their opportunities, comply with all applicable laws (including labour, child-protection, and accessibility), and treat volunteers with respect.

5. Verified hours

Hours marked by a host on the platform are a record of attendance, not legal proof of employment or completion of any specific program. WeCAN takes reasonable care to keep records accurate but does not guarantee them.

6. Suspension

WeCAN may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

7. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, WeCAN disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
